Yep, emotions can make or break your health

"Stress can kill you".

If you had a nickel for every time I heard that phrase. And even though no one has really died of stress, millions of individuals die from stress-related, stress-induced diseases every year.

Am I right or am I right?

In her book "Emotional Freedom", Judith Orloff, M.D. states that emotions trigger biological reactions that shape your health, just like your diet or your fitness routine.

"How you react emotionally is a choice in any situation -and those cumulative choices can make or break your chances of well being".

So we are not talking just stress here. We are talking about anxiety, loneliness, sadness, anger... you name it.

And while it is OK to feel whatever you feel, it is vital to learn how to let go, to not allow your emotions to take over and control your life.

Emotions are a source of energy, and they feed from your body. So whatever emotion you decide to feed, that is the emotion that will dominate your mood, your actions, your words, and your thoughts.

May we all choose wisely.
